A practicing Psychiatrist from Pune. She has received first PhD in Human Sexuality from medical faculty.
She has worked for Mentally Challenged for nearly 18 yrs. She was ad-hoc member of UNO 's committee on Standard Rules Application; in Hongkong. Just before it was handed over to China
Jt. Sec. National Forum for Mental Handicap.
She has authored informative booklets for NIMH and THPI on topics of Genetic Counselling and Sexuality.
A decade ago, she felt that, we as students and practitioners are lacking in few areas of practical knowledge; which do not get covered in regular clinical teaching. Hence decided to conduct the CME programs for PG Students as well as Physicians. It's about 10th year that she has been conducting them with increasing number of participations.
